Early morning ride before work: It had rained in the night which had cleared the air: the muggyness of the previous day was gone and the air was sharp and clear.
The cloud had collected in the valleys making a set of monochrome layers stretching into the distance…
Days don’t start much better then this.

I can now say I know that feeling!
I’ve just started a job which requires me to wake up at 6am most mornings. At first this horrified me. Then I finally tried cycling to work at this time of morning. With virtually no motor traffic nor much foot traffic (in the heart of this city of 11 million) it’s a beautiful and thrilling start the day.
Morning cycling is some of the best there is.
