I didn’t think little boys these days still did things like make bow and arrows… I’m really pleased to hear they do! I think those kids will turn out just fine (I did, and spent most of my formative years riding my bike round the country, getting dirty and climbing trees) I have lived in cities for over a decade now but still miss the country sometimes. Well, mine like to make that sort of thing, and I encourage them as much as I can- even if Eldest did manage to cut his finger with the knife (I have a small first aid kit on the bike for that eventuality) I’m not sure I could ever live in a city. Where we are now I’m on the edge of a small village with a view of fields, but we’re still too close to the urban area for my liking.
