I passed this along to a couple of my friends here who own Xtracycles. Hopefully your problem can be resolved somehow sooner than later. Anything you can do to fabricate the necessary component?

Many thanks. I’ve ordered clips from Really Helpful Rob at really useful bikes (and had a great chat with him about cycling) as Used Bikes didn’t have any in stock.
